Anne Shirley with music: The newly formed Live Oak Theatre troupe will present Anne of Avonlea, the Musical, based on the Anne of Green Gables book and television series, at 8 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at Weeki Wachee High School auditeria, 12150 Vespa Way, Weeki Wachee (off U.S. 19, 4 miles north of State Road 50). Tickets are $15. A special price of $5 for ages 13 and younger is available with the purchase of an adult ticket. A minimum of two adults must accompany each group of 10 children. Award-winning Elvis impersonator: Shawn Klush will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel High School, 30651 Wells Road. Klush won first place in the Worldwide Elvis Competition in Montreal, was in "Legends in Concert" in Branson, Mo., played Elvis in a TV miniseries and has toured the world as Elvis. 'Tis the season: Nature Coast Festival Singers will perform the Christmas choruses from Handel's Messiah and other seasonal songs at 3 p.m. Nov. 28 at First Baptist Church of Brooksville, 420 Howell Ave.; and at 3 p.m. Dec. 5 in Nativity Lutheran Church, 63636 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee, north of State Road 50. Admission is free, but an offering will be requested for the Ayer Memorial scholarship fund for music education students.

Holiday spirit: Hernando Symphony Orchestra will present Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 and 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at Springstead High School Theatre, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill; and at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at Hernando Performing Arts Center at Hernando High School, 700 Bell Ave., off Howell Avenue, Brooksville. Art shows

Art and craft show: Wilderness Lake Preserve will hold its annual fine art and craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the preserve, 21320 Wilderness Lake Blvd., Land O'Lakes, on U.S. 41, 4.9 miles north of State Road 54. The show features holiday gifts by local artists.

A way to look at it: Students of artist Jo Baughman are featured in "Viewpoints," an exhibit at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday, through Dec. 11. A reception for the students and instructor is from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 4. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Free.
