Free movie in the park: The lighthearted documentary Automorphosis will be shown at 6:30 p.m. (or at dark) today in Sims Park in New Port Richey. The film looks at what drives the creative process of unconventional people who have transformed their autos into works of art. The 77-minute film will be of most interest to ages 12 and older. Take blankets or lawn chairs. Hot dogs, popcorn, chips and drinks will be for sale.

Pickin' and singin': Country singers Joe and Jan Edwards will perform at the Country Aire Manor clubhouse, 10249 U.S. 98, 2 miles south of Dade City (off U.S. 301) at 7:30 p.m. today. Tickets cost $6, cash only, at the door. Jan will have a handmade jewelry sale at 6:30 p.m.
