Revisit the '40s through song at Show Palace Dinner Theatre

The songs of the Greatest Generation get the full treatment in the Show Palace Dinner Theatre's Sentimental Journey, a tribute to 1940s tunes, playing matinees and evenings Friday through June 5. Fourteen singers and dancers do two dozen USO favorites in the 90-minute show. Among them: Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, and the can't-sit-still song-and-dance production number, Sing, Sing, Sing. The Show Palace is at 16128 U.S. 19 in Hudson. Doors open two hours before each show for buffet and cash bar. Dinner and show, $48; show only $36.95, both plus tax and tip. Call (727) 863-7949 or toll-free 1-888-655-7469, reservations required.
