Carole King's 1971 album Tapestry was an embarrassment of riches, with iconic songs such as I Feel the Earth Move, It's Too Late and You've Got a Friend. Now it's a cabaret show in the hands of Roxanne Fay, an actor seen recently in productions of Side Man and A Midsummer Night's Dream, with James W. Crumbly Jr. at the piano. They perform Tapestry: The Songs of Carole King at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday at New American Theater's 75-seat space at BayWalk in downtown St. Petersburg. $15.
