You can be sure that Christopher Swan is going to be chewing the scenery as the hero of Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as told by himself). Swan plays de Rougemont, an adventurer whose tale of spending an almost 30-year sojourn with a cannibal tribe in Australia was a sensation in 19th century London. He hobnobbed with Queen Victoria and Rudyard Kipling and was set in wax by Madame Tussauds. But then his woolly yarns started to raise questions. Shipwrecked runs through Oct. 17 and is suitable for ages 6 and up. It's at Gorilla Theatre, 4199 N Hubert Ave., Tampa, at 7 tonight, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday. $10-$25.
