Hold on to your hats: Stage West Community Playhouse will present the dark adult comedy Everything in the Garden weekends through May 23 at the theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Kickin' it up: Richey Suncoast Theatre continues the musical Footloose weekends through May 30 the theater, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Originally a movie starring Kevin Bacon, it's about a young man from the city who moves to a small town and persuades the ultra-conservative townspeople to let the kids dance. Shows are at 8 p.m. except Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets $16 adults, $8 children. Box office is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and an hour before each performance. Gonna get married: The River Ridge High School Alumni Association will present the Standing Ovation Dinner Theatre troupe in The Godfather's Meshuggener Wedding: A Jewish/Italian Interactive Wedding Comedy from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Seven Springs Country Club, 3535 Trophy Blvd., New Port Richey. The $35 tickets include dinner and the audience participation show. Proceeds will go to scholarships and a monument to honor distinguished faculty and alumni. Tribute bands and more: Diva Hope Charities will hold a fundraiser "Concert for Hope" at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Rotary Pavilion, 15325 Alric Pottberg Road, Shady Hills (off State Road 52 adjacent to Safety Town). Performers include Tumbling Dice, a Rolling Stones tribute band; 1984, a Van Halen tribute band; and Destroyer, a KISS tribute band. There will also be a motorcycle show, merchandise and food vendors. Proceeds will underwrite cancer screening for women ages 44 and younger without insurance or money. Stand up and salute: Nature Coast Festival Singers will perform "Songs of Faith and Freedom," featuring patriotic hymns and seasonal works, with a special section by the Nature Coast Children's Chorale, at 3 p.m. Sunday at Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Free, but a donation will be accepted for the music education scholarship fund.

Scholarly singing: Baritone Paul Gibson will present a concert about travel, "One for the Road," at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey.
