The Show Palace Dinner Theatre opens its newest tribute to music of the 1950s and '60s, This Magic Moment, on Friday for an eight-week run.
Similar shows in 2004 and 2006 set and then broke attendance records. This version has an all-new book by Show Palace artistic director Matthew McGee, new song arrangements by Michael Ursua and a cast of 10 singers, dancers and actors.
The show opens in the 1980s, then is magically taken back to the 1950s, giving the quarreling long-marrieds a chance for a do-over in their lives.
This Magic Moment plays in matinees and evenings Friday through July 26 at the dinner theater, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Tickets for dinner and show are $46; show only, $34.95, plus tax and tip; ages 12 and younger, $28.45 and $23.45. For information, call (727) 863-7949 in west Pasco; toll-free elsewhere at 1-888-655-7469.
