One more piece in the puzzle of Wonderland: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure's trip to Broadway was filled in Wednesday with the announcement that the Frank Wildhorn musical will be playing the Marquis Theatre.

One of nine theaters owned by the Nederlander Organization, the theater is right on Times Square, a 1,611-seat venue on the third floor of the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

In recent years, the Marquis has been home to The Drowsy Chaperone, 9 to 5 and Come Fly Away, which closed Sunday.

Wonderland, which was premiered last year at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, will begin previews at the Marquis on March 21 and open April 17. It will have a pre-Broadway engagement at the Straz Jan. 4-16.
