Peaches is a chubby, 3-year-old domestic short hair mix, who is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all of her age appropriate vaccinations. She loves to be pet and have her belly scratched, and is content to lay around and sleep when she’s not getting attention.Inquiries about adopting Peaches or other dogs and cats can be made at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast shelter at Wiscon and Mobley roads, Brooksville. Visiting hours at the shelter is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The shelter is run strictly on donations; no government subsidies are provided.
