All dog owners think their pet is the cutest. But only Michelle Huff's bichon frise has earned the right to be called Tampa Bay's most adorable pooch.
Scarlett received the most online votes in tbt*'s Cutest Canine Contest, winning a year's supply of dog treats, $500 for Huff and a spot on today's cover.
Huff, 24, of Riverview, encouraged her work colleagues and MBA classmates at Strayer University to vote for the 1-year-old pup.

Why did you name her Scarlett?
I'm originally from Charleston, S.C., and I had already decided if I got a boy, I was going to name it Charleston and call it Charlie. I wanted a good, strong Southern-belle name, so I went with Scarlett. It's actually funny because we call her Scarlett O'Huffy, instead of Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind.
How do you like to spoil her?
She has a Coach collar on right now. I work at Bank of America, and they threw me a puppy shower instead of a baby shower. So she got spoiled right before I even got her. She goes everywhere with Mom. We've been kicked out of Target.
What will you do with the prize money?
I think puppy might get a new stroller.
Why do you like to bring her when you go out?
If people get to show off babies, why can't I show off my dog?
