Lottie is a 10-year-old domestic shorthair mix that has been declawed. He enjoys being held, loves wet food and craves human companionship. Lottie is neutered, microchipped and current on his age-appropriate vaccinations. Inquiries about adopting Lottie or other cats and dogs can be made at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast shelter at Wiscon and Mobley roads, Brooksville. Visiting hours at the shelter are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The shelter is run strictly on donations; no government subsidies are provided.
