This baby seal wasn't content simply to watch others surf when he could try it for himself.
Matt Stanley and Andrew Flounders were talking about how they hadn't seen any seals this year as they surfed off Amble in Northumberland, England. Next thing he knew, Flounders, who was hanging off his board with his legs dangling in the water, felt something brush against his leg. Then, the head of a baby seal popped out of the water. The seal climbed on top of Flounders' board, slipping off at first but seeming to get the hang of it with some help from the surfer.
"He got better as the day went by,'' Flounders joked. "He was hanging 10 by the end of the session.''
