Why? The products may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, a potentially deadly bacterium that can cause bloody diarrhea, dehydration and in the most severe cases, kidney failure.

Bridgestone tires

Company: Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC.

Quantity: 127,183.

Why? The tires were manufactured with insufficient tread base gauge.

What models? Firestone FR380 tires, size P235/75R15.

Saturn Vue

Company: General Motors Corp.

Quantity: 44,451.

Why? The outside door handles may stick and not close properly.

What models? 2008 Saturn Vue vehicles with outside door handles that are the same color as the car.

Volvo vehicles

Company: Volvo Cars of North America LLC.

Why? Due to a software error in the fan control module, the air-conditioning may not work properly and the engine coolant temperature might increase rapidly, which could lead to engine failure.

What models? 2008-2009 S80, V70 and XC70 vehicles.

Dewalt framing nailers

Company: Dewalt Industrial Tool Co.

Why? The bump action trigger could have been incorrectly assembled. This would allow the nailer to eject a fastener unexpectedly or prevent the trigger lock-off from working.

Peanut butter products

Why? The Food and Drug Administration is urging consumers to continue watching recalls lists for products with peanut butter. Some products have been linked to salmonella contamination. Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
