Peanut butter products

Why? The Food and Drug Administration is urging consumers to continue watching recalls lists for products with peanut butter. Some products have been linked to salmonella contamination. Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.

Certain pistachios

Company: Setton Pistachio.

Quantity: All from its 2008 crop.

Why? The products may be contaminated with salmonella. Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems

What models? Because the pistachios were used as ingredients in a variety of foods, it is likely this recall will impact many products.

Evenflo Envision and Majestic high chairs

Company: Evenflo Co. Inc.

Quantity: 733,000.

Why? Recline fasteners and metal screws on both sides of the high chair can loosen and fall out, allowing the seatback to detach or recline unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard. Detached hardware also poses a choking hazard to children.

What models? Stanley Stud Sensors 200 and FatMax Stud Sensors 400

Why? The stud sensor can fail to calibrate properly and detect AC electrical wires behind the wall, posing a shock hazard to the user.

What models? Stanley Stud Sensor 200 and Stanley FatMax Stud Sensor 400 with model numbers 77-720 and 77-730. The model number is located in a slide-out reference guide found in the base of the sensor's handle. The sensors are made of black plastic with a wide yellow stripe down the center. "Stanley" or "FatMax" are printed on the front of the product. A date code is printed on the inside of the battery cover. Affected sensors have date codes that do not begin with the letter "R."

Why? The pacifiers failed to meet federal safety standards. The nipples can separate from the base easily, posing a choking hazard to young children.

What models? Zoo pacifiers with animal cartoon figures as handles. The pacifier has a round-shaped mouth guard with three ventilation holes. "Made in Spain" is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard and "Mi Tosoro" is printed on the cardboard packaging.
