Why? Drivers have reported cases of sudden acceleration. Toyota will replace gas pedals; until then owners have been asked to remove the driver-side floor mat to avoid entrapping the gas pedal.

What models? The 2007 to 2010 model-year Camry sedans; 2005 to 2010 Avalon sedans; 2004 to 2009 Prius hybrids; 2005 to 2010 Tacoma pickups; 2007 to 2010 Tundra pickups; and Lexus's 2007 to 2010 ES 350, 2006 to 2010 IS 250 and 2006 to 2010 IS 350 sedans.

Why? The food has the potential to produce thiamine deficiency. Thiamine is essential for cats. Symptoms of deficiency displayed by an affected cat can be gastrointestinal or neurological in nature, and may result in death if untreated.

What models? Premium Edge Finicky Adult Cat and Premium Edge Hairball cat food with the following date codes: date codes were RAF0501A22X 18lb. (BB28NOV10); RAF0501A2X 6 lb. Why? The labels do not disclose that the product contains wheat. People who are on gluten-free diets run a risk of serious adverse consequences by consuming this product.

Why? The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hoods, posing a strangulation hazard to children.

What models? Boys hooded sweatshirts style B639BC in colors black, chocolate and charcoal. The velour sweatshirts were sold in sizes S, M, L and XL and have the name "Beverly Hills Polo Club" on the hangtag and on the center back neck.

Why? The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to young children.

What models? Girls velour hooded sweatshirts with a zip front that were sold as a part of a 2-piece set. "Major Diva" is printed on the front of the sweatshirts. The tag on the inside of the sweatshirts reads "2b REAL." The sweatshirts were sold in hot pink, light pink, ivory and khaki, and in sizes 4, 5/6 and 6X.

Electrolux and Kenmore gas ranges

Company: Electrolux Home Products Inc.

Why? An incorrect part allows more fuel to pass to the range's oven than can be burned efficiently, causing incomplete combustion and the release of carbon monoxide, which poses a risk of poisoning.

What models? Electrolux ICON (model E30GF74HPS, serial number range NF83000000-NF93633000) and Kenmore PRO 30-inch free-standing gas ranges (models 790.76913800 and 790.76913801 and serial number range serial number range NF83000000-NF93633000). Not all serial numbers within these ranges are included in the recall.
