Remember in 2009, when the organizers of Ribfest booked up-and-coming acts like Zac Brown Band, Jet and Morningwood to headline the annual pig-a-palooza in downtown St. Pete? Good times. Last year the festival returned, for the most part, to its classic-rockin' ways, with the Doobie Brothers, Rick Springfield and Eric Church. And this year, it looks like we're headed for another slide down the FM dial. Ribfest on Tuesday announced its first three headliners for this year's festival, Nov. 11-13 at Vinoy Waterfront Park: Styx and Southern rockers the Outlaws, both on Nov. 12; and country stud Trace Adkins on Nov. 13. (Note the absence of a Friday headliner — perhaps they're planning to wow us down the line.) According to the Ribfest website, advance tickets go on sale Oct. 1.
