The Ford Amphitheatre took its sweet time announcing concerts for this summer. Now it seems it can't stop. A day after it was learned Kings of Leon and Jack Johnson would be coming to the Ford Amp, it was announced that Sting will be performing there on July 3. He'll be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by maestro Steven Mercurio. Look at Sting, classin' it up! This is a far cry from your usual beer-infused summer shed festivals, right? Live- Nation promises Sting will play his biggest hits and some Police classics, re-imagined for symphonic arrangement. Ticket sales for the general public begin March 29, but American Express card members have the exclusive opportunity to purchase advance tickets beginning today at 10 a.m. through Tuesday. Ticketmaster has prices listed at $21 to $151.
