Are we in for a very Beatles reunion?

Is Paul McCartney ready to say "Let it be" to a Beatles reunion? British newspaper the Sun is reporting that organizers for the 2012 summer Olympic games in London have approached McCartney about performing. The event might even develop into a quasi-reunion of the Fab Four, with Ringo Starr providing the backbeat and the children of the late John Lennon and George Harrison filling in for their dads. Lennon, who was murdered in 1980, had two sons, Julian and Sean, who have both enjoyed music careers. Dhani Harrison, George's son, also followed in the family business. "(McCartney) has been speaking to organizers and has said he'd love to be involved with the games in some way. The organizers want the Beatles legend to appear alongside other big British acts," a source told the paper. "And they want Ringo on stage as well to make it extra special." McCartney's company, MPL Communications, had no comment.

Flash! Brangelina may get married

It's been at least six months since we've run a rumor that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting married, so we're apparently due. Now it's Us saying the ceremony will happen in the next few months. The glossy says the pair will fulfill the wishes of their six kids by holding an "intimate and informal" wedding, possibly in their chateau in Correns, France, according to three separate sources. Brangelina had said they wouldn't get hitched until gay marriage was legalized, but if this is true, just New York state will do.

Ryan is dating Charlize now

Ryan Reynolds has grabbed a rebound worthy of Dennis Rodman, because he's apparently getting over ex-wife Scarlett Johansson by dating Charlize Theron. A source tells Us that the 34-year-old actor and Theron, 35, "have been dating for months! They're exclusive, and it's very hush-hush." This is based on anecdotes such as Ryan's motorcycle at Theron's house last week, because the pair haven't been photographed together.

Danson to join 'CSI'

Laurence Fishburne may be off CSI: Crime Scene Investigation next season, but CBS has already found a replacement: Ted Danson. His first case will be finding out what happened to all the pigment in his hair. Danson will play the new supervisor for the Las Vegas team, the role previously held by William Petersen, the Associated Press reports. Ted also will still show up on HBO's Bored to Death, even while CSI starts its 12th season on Sept. 21. Want to know the scariest part of this trivia? Danson is 63, and it's been almost 30 years since he played Sam Malone on Cheers.
