Woods, Uchitel settle for $10M, TMZ reports
Tiger Woods has reportedly paid Rachel Uchitel — "the pilgrim of alleged mistresses" — $10 million to keep her trap shut, TMZ reports. "Our sources — and they are good — tell TMZ Tiger was so concerned with the depth and detail of information from Alleged Mistress #1 that they folded like a cheap suit, and offered the huge $10 million sum in return for an ironclad confidentiality agreement," the celebrity news service reports. Other mistresses received a few hundred thousand dollars, TMZ says. And what does all this mean if wife Elin Nordegren decides to get a divorce? TMZ says Rachel's price tag probably means Elin's payoff would be about $20 million.
In video, Paquin says she's bisexual
This has been a big week for coming out of the closet. First Ricky Martin opened up about being a "fortunate homosexual." Now Oscar winner and True Blood star Anna Paquin is outing herself. "I'm bisexual," she says in a PSA video for the Give a Damn campaign, a project started by Cyndi Lauper to raise awareness of hate crimes against gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people. Clay Aiken, Wanda Sykes and Elton John are among the celebs who appear in the video, too. "One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country," Paquin says, offering no further explanation. We're not clear on where this leaves things with Paquin's fiance and True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer. We assume he's still in the picture.
