A ship of tourists travels to the base of the iconic Horseshoe Falls at Niagara Falls State Park in New York. This photo is taken from the U.S. side of the falls looking toward the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The falls are about 167 feet high, and roughly 600,000 gallons of water flow over the edge per second. I made a side trip to the falls when I was in New York to cover the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills game for the Times. Chris Zuppa of the Times
