Theme park guide: Deals at SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Universal Orlando and more

Tots rule: SeaWorld and Busch Gardens this year raised the age on the free Preschool Pass for Florida residents ages 5 and younger, but the deadline is coming up. Register online by May 31. Bring your confirmation, along with your child's original birth certificate to any window at Busch Gardens' or SeaWorld's front gate. The pass is valid for unlimited admission, with no blackout dates, through Dec. 31. See SeaWorldOrlando.com or BuschGardensTampaBay.com.

Come back all year: Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Orlando are offering a savings of $25 when booking a joint ticket to visit both parks online. To qualify for this offer you must visit both parks by May 31. Both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have a "Pay for a day and come back all year" unlimited park admission through Dec. 31. See SeaWorldOrlando.com or BuschGardensTampaBay.com.

Third Day Free: Universal Orlando Resort earlier this month announced a new Third Day Free offer that gives Florida residents a two-day, two-park ticket plus a third day for $99. Tickets must be purchased online by May 31 and used by June 30. This is good for Universal and Islands of Adventure only, not Wet 'n Wild. See universalorlando.com.

Summer Concert Ticket: Universal is offering this ticket that allows one-time admission to the park after 7 p.m. on concert nights for its Summer Concert Series June 9-July 14. It costs $59.99 at universalorlando.com.

Pay now, bonus later: Dinosaur World in Plant City in August is having Double Dino Days. When you pay full admission price in August, you get a ticket to come back any day in December except Christmas Day. See dinosaurworld.com.

Gatorland: The park is reinstating its discount for Florida residents. Floridians of all ages will get a day's admission for $9.99 until June 30. The price is normally $21.99 ($13.99 ages 3-12). The park features thousands of alligators and crocodiles and shows where you can see them literally leaping to chomp on food. There's also an aviary, a petting zoo, train ride, splash park and the Screamin' Gator Zip Line over a gator breeding ground. See gatorland.com; 1-800-393-5297.

Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon: The Disney water parks are offering a Florida Resident "After 2" Water Park Annual Pass. This pass gives admission to the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks only in the afternoon after 2 p.m. It costs $60 for adults and $48 for kids. Purchase this ticket at the gate; you must have proof of Florida residency.

Adventure Island: The Tampa water park has a pass with unlimited weekday access with no blackout dates Mondays through Fridays through Sept. 3 for $49.99 for adults and $45.99 for children. For the best deal on a single-day ticket, buy online at AdventureIsland.com and save $5.

WeT 'n Wild: The Orlando water park is offering a pass for $52 for unlimited admission for one full year weekdays only. Florida residents can buy a day, get the rest of the year free for $48.99. See wetnwildorlando.com.
