Thrill-seekers who have been eagerly anticipating the opening of Busch Gardens' new Cobra's Curse snake-themed spin coaster this summer can get a first-hand look through a video the theme park released today.

Busch Gardens offers a glimpse from one of the ride's rotating chairs through a video posted on its Facebook page.

The video shows riders ascending on a 70-foot vertical lift to the top of the coaster, staring into the eyes of the 30,000-pound snake king icon, before descending along the twists and turns along the three-and-a-half-minute ride.

At one point, the ride appears to come to a standstill while the cars spin around and the riders complete the ride while going backward.

Construction was completed in March, and workers have been testing the ride in preparation for the opening this summer.

Cobra's Curse will be Busch Gardens' first new ride since Falcon's Fury opened in 2014.
