Thanks to a winning charitable raffle, we were able to fly anywhere in the United States and chose Rocky Mountain National Park. On Nov. 2, we hiked to the peak of Flat Top Mountain. We weathered high-velocity winds, snow flurries, numerous climate changes as well as a great dose of sunshine. The four-hour hike up to the Continental Divide took us to an elevation of more than 10,000 feet. The views were incredible, and we had a true education in altitude fitness. The first thing we did after we caught our breath was fly the Bucs flag in honor of the Warrick Dunn Foundation. His charity, which builds homes for single mothers, provided us the winning raffle ticket for this inspirational experience.
