These themes are probably going to make some of you have flashbacks to wasted mornings or afternoons spent sprawled in front of the TV.
The Dunedin Fine Art Center offers a multitude of ways to look at fiber art in its three current exhibitions, which run through July 6.
"Surfacing," a group show of work by the Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild, offers examples of felting, weaving, quilting, embroidery, even dollmaking. "Luminous" features the work of the late Jan Boyer, a local artist who specialized in natural pigment-dyed textiles. And another solo show spotlights Connie Lippert's interpretations of the Navajo wedge weave, a woven geometric pattern popularized by Indian artists in the 19th century.
