Carol Prusa's orbs are mysterious enough to be included in a set design for a futuristic movie. But they're first and foremost fine art, deserving of their place in the Polk Museum of Art, 800 E Palmetto St., Lakeland. An exhibition of Prusa's drawings features a wall of these acrylic domes on which she inks a complex, beautiful series of images that suggest faraway worlds. Shown are the artist and some hemispheres in progress. "Silver Linings: Delicate Drawings by Carol Prusa" continues through Aug. 30. Also on view: "All Natural: Organic Forms" by fiber artists Akiko Sugiyama and Jean Yao. polkmuseumofart.org or (863) 688-7743.
