Catch some rays at 'Beach, Beach, Beach' group show at Donna Gordon Gallery and Studio

Spring reminds us annually of why we love living here: mild, drier temperatures, cloudless blue skies (most of the time), the perfect beach weather. Donna Gordon Gallery and Studio, 625 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, celebrates this season with "Beach, Beach, Beach," a group show featuring seven artists that interpret the sun-sand-water experience. Shown is The Photographer, a painting by Margaret Bayalis. Gordon, a sculptor, also creates her own art on site and is working on a large piece that you can see in progress. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
