'Cross the Aisle' exhibit at Craftsman House features many politically themed pieces

It's all about politics right now, and many arts venues are embracing the discourse including Craftsman House, 2955 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. "Cross the Aisle" brings artists of different media into collaboration on new works, many politically themed, as are these pieces: Obama, clay by Jeremiah Jacobs and glass by David Walker, and Romney, clay by Jacobs and glass by Josh Paul. You can also get a good bite to eat in the cafe while you're there. See the show through Sept. 9. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. (727) 323-2787 or craftsmanhousegallery.com.
