Yes, you probably feel you have recently spent an enormous amount of holiday time and thought on and with your family and yes, indeed, you have.
Wasn't it fun?
Maybe habit-forming?
Most area museums sit in park-like areas that are a free delight just for hanging out. They also have great family programs and none more extensive than the Dalí Museum, 1 Dalí Blvd., St. Petersburg. Go to the website, thedali.org, to see the abundance of things to do there — yoga, films, community speakers, arts and crafts for families — and that's before the art.
A favorite idea is Breakfast with Dalí for Families, recommended for parents with kids 5 to 12, that includes an interactive docent tour tooled for younger viewers followed by a breakfast buffet and hands-on activities. The next one is 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $21 for adults and $10 per child (members pay about half that). A splurge to be sure but it's about what you spend on a movie, popcorn and a soda.
