Hillsborough Community College's Ybor Campus Art Gallery pays tribute to Jerry Meatyard, Stephen Holm, their students

The Jerry and Steve Show at Hillsborough Community College's Ybor Campus Art Gallery is not, as the name and accompanying photo suggest, a comedy gig. It's a tribute to Jerry Meatyard's and Stephen Holm's 30-year careers in the HCC visual arts program, curated by their former studio assistant Patrick Thomsen, who has gathered works by their former students, including James Michaels, Kurt Piazza, J.S.G. Boggs, Roddy Reed, Kurt Holyoke and Joe Griffith. The gallery, at Palm Avenue and 15th Street in Tampa, is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from noon to 7 p.m. (813) 253-7674 or hccfl.edu/yc/art-gallery.aspx.
