St. Petersburg's Second Saturday Art Walk features about 30 galleries and studios that stay open until 8:30 p.m. (some until 9) for visitors. Locations range throughout the downtown core with a heavy concentration along Central Avenue, stretching west to the edge of the Grand Central District. This month's walk includes a new gallery, Michele Tuegel Contemporary at 320 Central Ave. Tuegel was the founding director of Florida Craftsmen Gallery and is a respected fiber artist. Her new venture will feature both her own work and that of other fine craftsmen including John de Wit, a glass artist whose vessel is shown. Go to stpetearts.org for a listing of all galleries.
