Galleries throughout the Tampa Bay region will offer later hours Friday or Saturday, most as part of their monthly Gallery Walks. All are in downtown areas that offer lots of dining options, too. All gallery admissions are free.

Dunedin Second Friday Wine and Art Walk, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

All venues are on or just off Dunedin's charming Main Street. Buy a $10 wristband for discounts at more than 40 merchants and to be eligible for drawings at 8:30 p.m. in Pioneer Park. 2ndfridaydunedin.com.

St. Petersburg Downtown Art Association Gallery Walk, Saturday from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Unlike the Dunedin Walk, this one spreads through multiple parts of the city's downtown. The DAA website, stpetearts.org, has an online map and many participating galleries have them, too. Many galleries have new shows including Artlofts Studios, a group of artists' studios at 10 Fifth St. N, where you can visit where they work. Also open will be the Duncan McClellan Gallery, 2342 Emerson Ave. S, which features the new Boxfoto Airstream trailer, a movable photography gallery and studio.

Ybor Art Association Open House, Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Unlike the other walks, this is a single-location event at the YAA Gallery, 1521 Seventh Ave., Ybor City, Tampa. It's the first in a planned monthly open house on the second Saturday of each month and features works by arts who are members of the association. (813) 505-8802.
