Today at Museum of Fine Arts, an entertaining take on the Baroque

Here's an interesting event today at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, 255 Beach Drive NE. For the annual Parrish Lecture, the museum always brings in an expert on a topic relating to a current show: in this case, MFA's lovely Dutch and Flemish paintings. And if you're thinking stuffy, don't. This year's speaker is Peter Sutton, shown, and, yes, he is a scholar and expert in northern Baroque art but he's also an entertaining speaker. The lecture, at 6:30 p.m., is free and no museum admission is required because the galleries will be closed. (727) 896-2667 or fine-arts.org.
