We love the Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, this year on March 3 and 4. In this photo taken at last year's event, you get a sense of its scope and beautiful location in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. Now the savvy volunteer team that puts it together has created a new website befitting one of the biggest and best outdoor shows in Florida. For instance, when you click on the name of a participating artist, several examples of his or her work come up. So cool. Read about a new fundraiser, galaRE, at the Tampa Museum of Art on March 3, when the festival winners will be announced. You can also register online to be one of the hundreds of volunteers the festival needs before and during its weekend run. Check it all out at gasparilla-arts.com.
