Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine says he's got a big announcement coming Wednesday. We think we know what it is.
At the risk of playing the spoiler, Levine is all but certain to announce that he's running for governor.
Levine's office put out a press release Monday morning that teased "an important announcement about the future of Florida" coming Wednesday in Miami.
Levine, who has long eyed a run, fueled speculation that he'd jump into a crowded Democratic primary field earlier this month when he hired a political fundraiser. Cash might be one of the entrepreneur's major advantages over fellow Democratic hopefuls Gwen Graham, Andrew Gillum and Chris King.
Levine will make his announcement at 10:30 a.m. at 2215 NW 1st Place Miami, FL 33127.
