WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump will spend the week in Florida starting Monday with a Miami event on the $1.5 trillion tax cut and including a visit to Mar-a-Lago by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The Monday event in Hialeah — to attended by Sen. Marco Rubio and other officials but not Gov. Rick Scott — is designed to highlight the GOP's signature legislative accomplishment under Trump.

Trump will then go to Mar-a-Lago, marking his 17th visit since taking office. On Tuesday and Wednesday he'll host Abe, with trade and North Korea on the agenda.

Thursday, Trump is to visit Joint Interagency Task Force South in Key West.

On Friday, Trump will attend a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago to benefit the RNC and the NRCC.
