Just a week into his U.S. Senate campaign and Rick Scott is set to release his first TV ad, focusing on term limits, backed by $2 million.

"In Washington they say term limits can't be done. That's nonsense," Scott says in the ad.

The campaign is putting $2 million behind the ad, both on TV and digital, per a source. Politico reported the buy earlier Monday.

Scott wants to limit Senators to two terms and House members to six — so a total of 12 years.
