Lobbyist Brian Ballard's connections to Donald Trump have landed another high profile client, the Motion Picture Association of America.

The industry group signed a deal with Ballard Partners in Washington with a focus on international trade, market access, copyright and intellectual property, according to a registration form signed Wednesday.

Among other things, Hollywood is concerned that the trade war with China could hurt movies produced in the U.S.

For Ballard, it is another major client in Washington, where he has quickly become a top lobbyist through his longtime association with Trump. It could give the firm an entry into the entertainment business.
