LIGHTNING: Puck drops on the playoffs

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Presidents’ Trophy for the league’s best record and tied an NHL mark with 62 wins. Forget all that: The real season has begun with the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Bolts open the postseason tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets and former coach John Tortorella, and the series continues with games in Tampa on Friday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (7 p.m.), then Columbus on Tuesday (7 p.m.).
