Happy 10th birthday, PolitiFact! Here's how Florida politicians have rated

PolitiFact is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month, with more than 13,500 fact-checks in its archive.

Editor Angie Holan explains what has changed about our process and what we've learned since the Tampa Bay Times launched fact-checking website in 2007 in this column

PolitiFact has partnerships with about a dozen states, including with the Times and Miami Herald to fact-check Florida politicians. As a result, Gov. Rick Scott and Sen. Marco Rubio are two of PolitiFact's 10 most-fact-checked politicians.

Of all fact-checks, 1,381 appeared in PolitiFact Florida, which started in March 2010. The graphic shows how Florida-centric statements have landed on the Truth-O-Meter.
