Pasco and Hernando finished second and third at the Class 1A, District 8 boys golf tournament Monday at Southernwoods Golf Club in Lecanto to advance to regionals.

Turner Imhoff shot a team-best 81 to lead the Pirates (349) into next week's regional match. Clint Tedder (83), junior Austin Riddaugh (85) and Chris Doyle (100) also helped Pasco move on.

Hernando sophomore Cody Montgomery edged out Crystal River's Matt Mullarkey by a stroke in a playoff to earn the first-place ribbon as an individual. Both finished with rounds of 75.

Adam Larson (93), David Underwood (96) and Brandon Lawson (99) joined Montgomery to lead the Leopards.

Nature Coast freshman Jacob Arnett fired an 84 to qualify for the next round as an individual.

"He played great," Sharks coach Tom Brown said.

Crystal River (310) placed first as a team. Nature Coast (384) was fourth.
