Junior forward Rashawn Rembert, the top scorer and rebounder for Class 5A state runnerup Sickles, confirmed Tuesday he already has received scholarship offers from Division I programs Liberty and Ohio University.
Additionally, Rembert said, a handful of other Division I schools such as Mercer, Butler and High Point have expressed interest in him since his 36-point, 16-rebound effort in two state tournament games earlier this month.
A 6-foot-3 shooting guard, Rembert (21.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg) also has been courted by North Florida, Stetson, Jacksonville, East Carolina and USF.
