At Odessa, Plant got 4-under-par 69 from junior Kelsey Eisch to coast to its ninth consecutive district crown at Silver Dollar Golf Club.
The Panthers finished 100 strokes ahead of runnerup Alonso. Those two teams, and third-place Chamberlain, earn berths in next week’s region 4 tournament at Emerald Greens.
“(Eisch) got off the tee real well, she was sticking her irons, and obviously got enough birdies out there to be 4 under,” Panthers coach Vernon Korhn said. “She couldn’t have played much better than she did.”
Panthers No. 2 player Laura Hindee finished with a 1-over 74. Lauren Binkowski (85) and Chloe Dallas (102) rounded out the scoring for Plant.
