2A-5 region boys golf: Green Devils' Maguire reaches state

In the boys 2A, Region 5 tournament, St. Petersburg’s Jack Maguire was the lone county player to advance.

Maguire won individual honors with 68 at Misty Creek Country Club in Sarasota.

St. Petersburg, Osceola and Seminole, the county’s top three teams from last week’s district tournament, failed to qualify for state.
