2A-5 region girls golf: Crutchfield misses out on second straight title, lands state berth

St. Petersburg’s Shane Crutchfield had another blistering score at the Class 2A, Region 5 tournament.

But it was not enough for the junior to win her second straight region title.

Crutchfield shot 67 at the Golf Club at Magnolia Landing in Fort Myers to finish in a tie after 18 holes. She lost in a two-hole playoff but will advance to state as an individual.
