LAKELAND — In a game that featured 10 errors, Lakeland Christian took advantage of the last one to post a 4-3 victory over Indian Rocks Christian.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Vikings Zoe Wilson and Shelby Pierce reached on a fielder’s choice and error, respectively. Then after a double steal Hannah Webster knocked in both runners as the shortstop’s low throw eluded the first baseman.
IRC (11-9) scored three runs in the fourth. Jessica Logemann knocked in one run, then with two outs Sarah Brangenburg tied the score as the pitcher failed to field a groundball. Kahley Dohme singled to right to bring home seventh-grader Olivia Ross-Johnson.
