No. 1 seed Braden River advanced with a 25-14, 25-20, 25-12 sweep of No. 4 seed Osceola at home a day after the Warriors advanced to the semifinal with a thrilling five-game win against Lakewood Ranch.
“They did such a good job the day before against Lakewood Ranch,” Osceola coach Michele Copello said. “I expected the momentum to carry over to Braden River.”
Braden River built big leads in Game 1 and Game 3, and Osceola had trouble keeping up. The Warriors held close to the Pirates in Game 2 before losing late.
