There’s a nice story about Tampa Catholic QB Christian Green in today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

It talks about Green’s weekend official visit to Georgia, his relationship to Bulldogs coach Mark Richt and how Tampa natives Aaron Murray and Orson Charles, Plant grads now at UGA, are hoping Green also becomes a Dawg.

In it, there’s also this quote from TC coach Bob Henriquez that locals might find interesting:

“Yeah, Aaron Murray’s been working on him,” Henriquez told the paper, with a laugh. “Aaron tried to recruit him away from Tampa Catholic over to Plant when he was over there, too. So I guess he’s recruiting him again.”

Green is rated as one of the country’s top WR prospects.

His finalists are Florida State, Florida, Georgia and USF.
