AATL's Harvey is first Wildcat football recruit

Academy at the Lakes RB Jarrett Harvey signed with Webber International University on Friday morning. He’s the first Wildcat football player to sign a college scholarship.

Harvey was an all-state selection at the six-man program after rushing for 2,482 yards (11.9 per carry) as a senior. The 6-foot, 175-pound Harvey spent time at linebacker and defensive back, where he totaled four interceptions, three fumble recoveries and five sacks. He also averaged 8.4 points per game as a guard on the basketball team.
