Alonso and Jesuit both finished in the top 50 nationally in MaxPreps' top 100 baseball rankings, the site announced today.

The site ranked Alonso eighth after the Ravens won the Class 6A state championship. Jesuit, a 4A state runner-up, finished 50th in the poll.

Lakeland came in 36th, and two other Florida teams also finished in the top 50.
