Alonso coach Mike Heldt said Wednesday that it appears injured junior defensive end Anthony Chickillo will miss the next six games with a fractured collarbone.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Chickillo, who had four sacks in three quarters of play on Friday, was injured in the fourth quarter of the Ravens’ 39-7 opening-week win over Brandon.
“It’s going to have to be everyone who is going to have to step up, not just one person,” Heldt said. “It’s not the first time someone’s gotten hurt and it won’t be the last.”
Chickillo, who transferred from Gaither in the offseason, owns scholarship offers from Miami and FIU.
